In our company, quality assurance takes highest priority. Testing and documenting the quality of a filter is part of our production process. Modern test benches are available for a range of quality tests.
Seebach is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000

- 1.1. Multi pass test: testing in accordance with ISO 16889
The multi pass test investigates the separation ability of a filter element over its life. Particles with a specific size distribution are fed into a filter circuit. The particles are automatically measured before and after the filter to determine the beta-value and hence the separation ability or filter rating of the filter element.

- 2.Bubble point test: Test in accordance with ISO 2942
The bubble point test is a nondestructive test for filter materials and complete filter elements normally used for quality control during and after manufacturing.

- 3.High pressure test benches
To test the maximum differential pressure of a filter element, we have several high-pressure test benches that subject the elements to pressures up to 450 bar. Our customers are therefore provided with a reliable definition of the maximum differential pressure at which the filter element collapses.
All high-pressure filter systems are tested for leaks on a high-pressure test bench before they are delivered. For our users, this means that Seebach products have a high degree of dependability that can be relied upon at any time.
- 4.Determining the cleanliness class
To test the contamination of liquids, especially in a hydraulic system, we use equipment to automatically determine the purity class in accordance with ISO 4406 and NAS 1638. It is essential to analyze the purity class in a hydraulic system for designing the filtration and also for testing the filter performance.
You can find an overview of the cleanliness classes here.
