Amine Scrubbing

Amine scrubbing is a chemical process to remove carbon acid gas, hydrogen sulfide and other sour gases from gas blends. An additional process step to recirculate the amine by heart treatment is necessary.

This procedure is used in refineries and natural gas and petrochemical plants. Seebach elements, made from stainless steel and special alloys like Hastelloy, are highly chemical resistant and can help to extend maintenance intervals and reduce operating cost.
