The essential elements of filter unit design are determining the required filter surface, the pressure loss in the filter medium and in the filter unit as a whole, and the flow rates occurring in the filter element. Manufacturing
The next step after the selection of the filter medium and the design of the filter and housing geometries for the individual application through the use of numerical simulation, is the custom-fit production, which accurately meets all the conditions defined by the designer. This is achieved by highly qualified and motivated workers in a workshop equipped with modern processing machines. Quality
Although we take the greatest possible care in filter media selection and processing, occasional defects or weaknesses can only be excluded by careful quality control of individual components as well as finished products. Quality control must confirm that every filter exhibits the specified filtration efficiency, that the pressure loss is within the designed range, and that the specified working life can be guaranteed under operational conditions. Therefore, each filter element is subjected to all the testing procedures required under national and international standards.
